I was just floored by this amazing song – by both it’s musicianship (an amazing mix of rock & classical – including an amazingly romantic piano solo which sounds like Rachmaninov) and it’s meaning: hope, intention, taking responsibility, the way we push ourselves, and others, to be the best; to be in control of our past, present & future whether it’s good for us …or not. Due to living in foreign countries, I heard of “Muse” only in the last 10 years, so I was a bit late to the party, but am making up for lost time with a passion. Unfortunately, I have no personal connection with the band outside of currently living in their country of origin, but I’m hoping my art will change that.
