Earthy tones and textures ground us physically while music uplifts us spiritually beyond ourselves. A perfect balance. This group of works was based on the play of words in terms used for our written signature for documents, an artist’s signature on an artwork and a time signature on a musical score. If you know me personally, you would not believe that my two signatures are this bold and confident. (Secret: They are not – I had to really force myself to get this effect!) The music is the oldest known score for the piano – 18th century.
